Laboratory Techniques in Microbiology are essential for studying microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa. These techniques allow scientists and researchers to isolate, cultivate, observe, and identify microbes under controlled laboratory conditions. Other important techniques include serial dilution and plating to estimate microbial counts, biochemical tests for species identification, and antibiotic sensitivity testing to determine resistance patterns. Molecular techniques, such as PCR, are increasingly used alongside traditional methods. Together, these microbiological techniques are vital for medical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, food safety, and research in biotechnology and infectious diseases. She is actively involved in research on burn wound microbial distribution of burn patients at tertiary care unit of hospital.
